God Made Dirt - Dirty Closets

One of my favorite Eminem songs is "Cleaning Out my Closet" (I may have just lost my churchy folk) More than his wordplay and catchy hook, it was his painful transparency that sticks out to me. We are told by the world to be ashamed of what's in our closets and that some items in our closets should be worn with shame. A dirty closet seems to have the meaning that a dirty closet (past) leads to a dirty future. Well 1 Peter 1:18-19 says "For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect." Is sure sounds like the blood of Christ redeemed our closets to me ya dig!! 😜 #GoodMawnin to youuuu!! 🌞🕶
